Opportunity Content: Any content or material (text, images, audio, video, etc.) submitted during an opportunity by a client or a participant.

Clients: Organizations, businesses, or individuals registered on Kanect to host opportunities.

Participants / Candidates: Individuals (or representatives of organizations) who register to participate in opportunities.

Information We Collect

To provide you with the full range of services, Kanect may collect the following types of information:

  1. Personal details: name, profile photo, email, phone, address, date of birth, gender, occupation, and organization (if applicable)
  2. Account credentials: username, password
  3. Technical information: IP address, device details, browser type, OS, time zone, usage logs, analytics data
  4. Assessment and event data: responses to quizzes, hackathons, submissions, interviews, etc.
  5. Payment details (when you purchase tickets or subscriptions)

  8. Photographs (for user profiles and for exam proctoring in some assessments)

For certain services, some personal details may be mandatory.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data as long as your account is active and for up to 5 years after account closure unless a longer period is required by law.

For client-owned data, retention is 3 years (archived after 1 year, deleted after 3 years).
